Trump’s Greenland Deal Win
President Donald J. Trump got what the US wanted from Denmark, without territorial changes, in the Greenland Deal on Sep 18, 2026 at no cost to US taxpayers. U.S. control will dominate and bring further changes!

Permanent Military Rights
- Infinite Basing & Access: The U.S. receives permanent overflight rights and the authority to establish new military bases on the island.
- Irrevocable Agreement: This military access remains locked in permanently, meaning it cannot be overturned even if Greenland votes for full independence from Denmark in a future self-referendum.
- Missile Defense Integration: The expanded footprint is intended to help develop President Trump’s envisioned “Golden Dome” missile defense system to protect the United States.
Blocking Adversaries
- Ban on Hostile Bases: Non-NATO countries, specifically Russia and China, are completely barred from deploying troops or building military installations on Greenland.
- Investment Screening Veto: The deal establishes a strict screening mechanism. The U.S. effectively gains a “right of first refusal” or veto power over all foreign investments in Greenland’s sensitive infrastructure, telecommunications, and ports.
- Critical Mineral Protections: Adversaries are blocked from investing in or gaining mining rights to Greenland’s massive, untapped reserves of rare earth minerals.
